Will Young is running the London Marathon to 'give back'

  • February 17, 2012
  • Mikey

Will Young has announced that he is running the London Marathon again this year.

Will plans to run in aid of Catch 22 — a charity established to help vulnerable young people — for the second year on the literal trot, saying: "It was such an amazing experience last time and it is a privilege if I can again do something to highlight the need for us to invest in young people in the UK."

Last year, Will completed the 21km jaunt from Greenwich Park to The Mall in four hours, two minutes, and hopes to better that on April 22 "without throwing up".

Will has set a sponsorship target of £15,000 and anyone can donate here. Dig deep.
