The UK charts are all getting a bit tense

  • November 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

This week's Number One spot is 'too close to call', for both singles and albums.

According to The Official Charts, Rihanna's slightly succesful single 'We Found Love' is only 300 copies behind One Direction's new 'ballid' 'Gotta Be You'. This makes it the closest chart battle since that last one that happened between two artists some period of time ago.

On the album chart 'side of things' Snow Patrol are only 400 copies behind JLS's 'Jukebox'. This means if Snow Patrol get to Number One on Sunday, at least 401 people will have bought a Snow Patrol album. Readers if you have been affected by any issues raised in this paragraph, we have a specialist hotline available.*
