The new Ting Tings album is still not out

  • November 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

The Ting Tings have revealed that they chucked out most of the album they had recorded because they "fell out of love with it".

Katie Ting Ting revealed that she and Jules Ting Ting "went to Berlin and really fell in love with techno and dance, which inspired the songs that we made there".

To Berlin's dismay the band "went to Spain and stumbled on this new sound", and as Katie told The Star: "We thought: Fuck it, let’s make the album this way instead".

She also keenly announced that "we’re not a big manufactured pop band with a song out every six months".

Hmm.
