Pet Shop Boys are releasing a new b‑sides collection

  • November 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Pet Shop Boys are releasing a new b‑sides collection album 'thing' next year.

'Format' will feature 38 b‑sides and bonus tracks originally found on the duo's singles between 1996 and 2009. Speaking to Varsity, Neil Tennant stated quite rightly that "some of our best songs are b‑sides, because on a b‑side you can do what you like".

'Format' will be released on February 6 2012, and according to the band's official website they are "currently working on their 11th studio album, which is due for release in early autumn next year".
