The Marina & The Diamonds video that caused some kerfuffle earlier this week is out now

  • September 28, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

The mildly controversial video for Marina & The Diamonds' new single 'How To Be A Heartbreaker' can now be watched on The Sun's website (only if you live in the UK though, apols).

WARNING: There is a lot of really ugly flesh on show. Marina in particular looks absolutely hideous.

The 'Power & Control' hitmaker had this to say about the video's 'vision': "I had 100 per cent creative control over this video. I was like OK, lets get six Calvin Klein models and put them in the shower and I'll standing the middle in PVC."

Fascinating stuff, although given the proliferation of impressively-sculpted male models one can't help but feel Marina might have slightly mistimed this week's objection to her label's demands for conventional good looks. Maybe it's alright to objectify people and dwell on 'perfect' bodies as long as they're men. Right? RIGHT!
