Swedish House Mafia don't really buy into albums so might not release another one

  • June 7, 2012
  • Sam Hine

Swedish House Mafia might not release an album in the future.

In an chat with celebrity site DigitalSpy, Sebastian Ingrosso quite bluntly proclaimed: "I don't think there's going to be any album."

"This album format isn't happening anymore", continued Seb. "People today release songs on iTunes and people choose and pick what they like and they make their own playlists. An album doesn't make sense for us at the moment."

In an unusual twist, Ingrosso referred to how "Madonna just put out an album" and posed the leading question, "but how many tracks do you know from it?"

We're not sure what point he was attempting to make, unfortunately.
