"Well, it's better than her guitar shit" was the reaction of one Popjustice forum user to a snippet of new material unleashed by Sky Ferreira last night.
The short, synth-heavy clip was uploaded to Ferreira's Soundcloud under the name '2012' with the web address ending in the word "coming".
The singer's debut album was initially scheduled for release in January 2011 but will now be released later in 2012.
