No Doubt are releasing their new album as a ridiculous 'Speaker Box Set'

  • September 6, 2012
  • Owen Myers

No Doubt are hawking their new album as a 'lavish' Speaker Box Set that costs $175. A representative of the band tweeted the news yesterday evening.

The Speaker Box Set includes:

  • A "rigid textured box" featuring audio speakers (brand unspecified).
  • A fake lanyard ("sorry — no backstage access" the item description clarifies).
  • A "hardbound 24 page booklet" presumably containing some nice 'portraits'.
  • Three bonus tracks (which is odd since the deluxe CD edition includes eight bonus tracks and it would have been easy enough to stick them all on wouldn't it).
  • The album 'Push and Shove' itself.
  • Some other nice tat.

You can preorder the thing here if you like.

No Doubt also performed 'Settle Down' at the NFL kickoffs last night and it was quite good. There's an unofficial link to it here which will probably be taken down soon.
