  • September 6, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Lady Gaga, Florence '+' The Machine, Nicki Minaj, Rizzle Kicks and a couple of other vaguely pop acts have all been nominated for some Q Awards.

Flo is up for Best Track for 'Shake It Out' and Best Solo Artist under her Florence Welch 'moniker'. Also in the Best Track category are Fun. with 'We Are Young', Plan B with 'Ill Manors' and Rizzle Kicks' 'Mama Do The Hump'.

Other acts in the Best Solo Artist category include Adele, Dizzee Rascal and controversy magnet Emeli Sandé.

Nicki Minaj's appalling 'Starships' clip has been nominated in the Best Video category and, less weirdly, Lady Gaga's up for the Best Act In The World Today 'gong'.

There's more information on it all here.
