Nicki Minaj has spoken to Access Hollywood about her forthcoming support slot on the Britney tour, claiming to be "looking forward to it".
Which we suppose is a relief all round.
Minaj is currently on tour with Lil Wayne but is aware that she might need to change her approach slightly (she's previously vowed to stop waving a giant dildo about on stage for her younger audience).
“We’re going to put our all into this and make it exciting, very different than the last one, but still keep it grounded in hip hop, still make it bright and fun and theatrical" she said.
Talking about her first meeting with Britney, Minaj said she was "freaking out" and that she didn't believe her team when they told her Britney was coming backstage at her recent show in LA. "I was like, ‘Whatever, please stop joking with me, I’m not in the mood, like whatever!’ And when she walked in the door, I couldn’t believe it. She looked every bit of a superstar.”
The tour starts in Sacramento on June 16.
