Mollie 'Queen of Kings' King's debut solo single is out this Friday

Mollie King, familiar to many of you as a former member of the UK girlband Fallen Angelz, is releasing her debut solo single 'Back To You' this Friday.

There was minor hoo-ha last week when some sources listed it for release last Friday but we can put that all behind us now because moving images and text have this morning been combined in what can only be described as 'a tweet'.

Mollie announced that she'd signed to Island Records last October so in some ways this release is ten months in the making. But on a more real level you could say this achievement is the culmination of the varied endeavours that have taken place during the 200,000 years in which modern humans have been on the planet. And while evidence of behavioral modernity has only been around for 50,000 years, it's fair to say that extra 150,000 years' development will be clearly evident in the 'Back To You' video. In short: all human existence has been leading to this moment.
