Kaiser Chiefs have shared their new Brian Higgins-produced single with the world

Public-dis­turb­ance-proph­es­ising 'Love's Not a Competition (But I'm Winning)' hitmakers Kaiser Chiefs have popped their Brian Higgins-produced new single 'Parachute' on the www and it basically sounds like a Girls Aloud song ('The Loving Kind' basically) sung by a man.

Here it is:

Brian's done the whole album, 'Stay Together', which is out on October 7 (!) and also features con­tri­bu­tions from MNEK and Wayne Hector.

Here's a quote from good ol' Ricky Wilson on 'Parachute':

“When we wrote the first record we were very direct, little needed explain­ing. The songs seemed to speak for them­selves and did all the hard work for us. 'Parachute' is pretty self-explan­at­ory and a bit of a return to that. Parachute is probably the first love song we’ve written since 'Ruby'.”
