Azealia Banks has put out a new song but the producer isn't happy

  • May 11, 2012
  • Mikey

Azealia Banks has 'dropped' her new track 'Jumanji', as promised.

"This is the jam-a-jam‑a, go anthem, banana, get that, you got it," she raps over steel drums produced by New York knob wizard Nick Hook and Scots swizzler Hudson Mohawke.

Soon after the release, Mr Mohawke tweeted his displeasure at the premature posting, saying: "Azealia posted our track before it was finished or properly mixed. But ok I guess.." Oh dear Azealia. (The tweet has since been deleted.) (Probably because of the ridiculous two-point ellipsis.)

The song is lifted from Banks' 'Fantastic' mixtape which comes out in between her '1991' EP due this month and her album 'Broke With Expensive Taste' planned for later in the year. She's put things in a bit of a wonky order but SHE'S AN ARTIST, what can you do?

You can hear and download 'Jumanji' for free below, that's what. We like the artwork of Azealia dancing with Babar.
