50 Cent isn't happy with his label

  • January 3, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

50 Cent is threatening to release his new music for free after becoming disillusioned with his current label, Interscope.

As reported by BBC Newsbeat, the rapper tweeted that he was disgusted with the "people and politics" involved in the music industry and announced that he wouldn't be promoting his forthcoming album.

"My next album is great. It's [a] shame the hardest people to work with were supposed to be on the same team with me," he continued. "I having nothing left to say. I will not be promoting my music."

This follows last week's Twitter outburst that involved giving Interscope label boss Jimmy Iovine an ultimatum when he tweeted: "Ok I need a record deal Jimmy Iovine, call me early tomorrow or I'm putting out another mix tape."

Oh dear.
