Who's new on the Popjustice Almighty? 4

  • July 7, 2007
  • Popjustice

Well, this lot.

Ali Love
Ali Love, we have decided, is the best thing in the world. By 'thing' we mean 'man' but not in a way that might be considered rude or inappropriate. We just like the music he makes because at the end of the day it is all about the music man. Please note this 'all about the music' logic does not extend to Certain Festival-Based Pop Videos Which Shall Remain Nameless where terrible visual accompaniments can really put the kibosh on a good song.

The Go! Team

The new single is not only amazing but also the most song-like song The Go! Team have ever recorded. Despite these indisputable facts, it is being ignored by Planet Earth and, we expect, other planets as well. he album is good too.

Luciana

Like Ali Love but with better hair, Luciana is quite funny as well as being good at her day to day job of being a shouty yet fashionable popstar. She came to drop something off for us at Popjustice HQ this week  (NB: not drugs) but it was all a bit awkward because moments before she arrived we had just finished having an argument with somebody on the phone and were not really in the mood for entertaining. Sorry Luciana.

Kanye's Robots

Everyone likes a robot.

Freemasons

One need only compare and contrast the remixed and the not-remixed versions of the new Beyonce single to understand why Freemasons continue to be the pop industry's most valuable turd polishers. We don't think we are allowed to tell you yet what their next single is but we can tell you now that it is going to be literally quite good.

Coxon & Weller.

Oh, please.

Chances are that Booty Luv will feature quite highly in the next Almighty update. Just to let you know.
