Paris Hilton, David Guetta, Flo Rida and a 'Don't Stop Believin'' interpolation: is Popjudgement Day finally here?

  • May 28, 2012
  • Popjustice

As you know, we've been anticipating Paris Hilton's new material for various complex reasons, the main two of which are:

REASON 1. 'Stars Are Blind' was a tune whichever way you look at it, so the new stuff might also be accidentally brilliant.

REASON 2. As discussed here, the current LOLpop club track 'genre' needs to reach its lowest low before pop can start to regenerate, and we think Paris is the girl to come up with the goods.

We'd say this latest leak 'Louder' — purportedly Paris and Flo Rida duetting on a Guetta-produced homage to Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' although these ingredients are almost too bad to be true — is more the latter.

[EDIT: It is in fact too bad to be true.]

BEHOLD.

That said, we still think Paris can do worse. In fact, we'd say this is just a hint of how potent her new album's awfulness could really be. Brace yourselves, readers.
