Carmen: A Hip Hopera actress Beyoncé has been nominated for a veritable slew of BET awards.
Mrs Knowles‑Z appears in all of the major categories, including Best Female RnB Artist and Best Collaboration. Two of her songs – ‘Countdown’ and ‘Love On Top’ – are included in the Video Of The Year category.
Overall, she is nominated for six honours, more than any other performer. Alright, alright, so Kanye has seven but five of those are for The Throne so that really means 2.5.
'Repping' Britain in the Best International Act: UK category are Estelle, Labrinth, Emeli Sandé, Sway and Wretch 32.
The BET Awards will air on July 1, hosted by Samuel L Jackson and features performances from serial award show botherers Nicki Minaj and Changed Man Chris Brown.
