will.i.am has been confirmed as Cheryl Cole's manager

After weeks of spec­u­la­tion, will.i.am has confirmed that he will be taking over as Cheryl Cole's manager ahead of her judging role on US X Factor.

“Yeah, we’re doing it now," he said.

So casual! Imagine what he's like in meetings. He probably puts his feet on the table and everything.

"She’s great," i.am adds. "America’s going to go mad for her just like you guys are mad for her here.”

The pair will work together on Cheryl's album relaunch in America.
