Union J are launching their own line of dolls and assorted other crap early next year

  • August 1, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

Union JEVERYONE CALM DOWN: Union J will launch their own range of "collectable dolls, accessories games and puzzles" with toy manufacturer Vivid in January 2014.

In a slightly cautious statement, your friend and ours Mary Wood, who is of course Marketing Director at Vivid, said:

"Union J are set to be the next big boy band and look to have every opportunity to be a huge success. What’s important for the toy industry is that girls who will be watching Union J’s every move are right in the target market for buying fashion dolls."

"Vivid are fast tracking the development of these dolls to ensure we get them out to market following the hype of the boys' own tour," she added.

Basically, 'we're chucking them out just after their first tour and striking while the iron is arguably hot'.

But what does Union J's Licensing Manager Stephen Mills think?

"It’s great to have Vivid as our partner given their track record of success. 2014 is going to be a very exciting year for everyone involved in Union J!"

Cheers Steve!
