Notorious bowtie-tweaker Cher Lloyd has revealed that her distinctive grunt in certified US smash hit 'Want U Back' is a real one.
Speaking to MTV News, the 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word' singer said:
"I was in the studio, and for some reason, I couldn't hit a particular note. I get really frustrated with myself when I can't do something, so I made the 'ugh' sound, and they kept it in."
And so it came to be that one of the greatest pop noises in history was committed to 'wax'.
