Simon Cowell wants to change "every aspect" of The X Factor

  • April 9, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

simon-cowellThe never knowingly underdramatic Simon Cowell has claimed that he plans to change "every aspect" of the forthcoming series of The X Factor — including one of the judges.

Talking to the Radio Times (as quoted here), Cowello mused: "The format is 10 years old and any format that has lasted that long… You have to change the format because the inevitable result is if you don't [the ratings] will go down."

"Every aspect of the show [will be changed] in some particular way. It will look like a slightly different show to one you have seen before," he continued.

While he wouldn't say who the new judge would be, he did rule himself out, at least for this year.

"At some point I will definitely come back on it," he warned.

He also claimed to do "several hundred" pushups a week, so that's good to know.
