Shakira fell out with herself while making her new album

  • March 5, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

ShakiraShakira has revealed that there were a lot of fights when it came to recording her new album, most of which were with herself actually. How spiritual!

“I will always be a little bit of everything,” she mused to Latina magazine when asked about her 'eclectic' style.

But this seemed to cause some problems: "There was a lot of fighting with myself about what direction I wanted to go. Throughout the process there were songs that I used to love at that moment and then hated a few minutes later.”

She also confirmed there'd be another Spanish-language album on the way soon.

“The relationship I have with my Hispanic fans is very deep and intricate. It’s like a 20-year marriage, but with a lot of passion, with a lot of sex. There’s mutual understanding and trust.”

Not much like a 20-year marriage at all, then.
