Selena Gomez's new single is due in April but isn't a duet with Taylor Swift

  • March 14, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

selena-gomez_320Selena Gomez has been chatting some more about this new album of hers and it's bad news for people expecting a Taylor Swift duet.

Asked if the rumours were true that she and Taylor have recorded a duet for the first single, she replied: "No, that would be amazing. I definitely didn't work with Taylor on this record, but she's heard my stuff."

She did confirm, however, that the first single is called 'Come And Get It' and will be out in April.

She also 'let slip' that it's been influenced not only by her new film Spring Breakers, but also Skrillex (hm) and Britney (hurrah).

There's no mention of 'Rule The World' which leaked yesterday, but you can have a listen to that here if you like.
