Scissor Sisters are playing a free London concert this summer

  • April 27, 2012
  • Mikey

Scissor Sisters are playing a free concert at The Tower Of London on July 21.

The 'gig' is part of BT's River Of Music thing and will take place during the Olympic Festival. Scissor Sisters will headline the Americas stage "alongside a host of wonderful and diverse" (shit) acts.

There are other stages dotted along the Thames, each representing the whole world coming together in one place to celebrate public transport chaos.

Beverley Bloody Knight will represent Europe, Shinhai from The Noisettes will do the honours for Africa and there's no one we've ever heard of performing on the Asia or Oceania stages but there you go.

"We have to play the show of our lives at the Tower otherwise it will be off with our heads," said Scissor Sisters.

Tickets are 'free' — but you have to pay a booking fee, THANKS BORIS — and you can find out more about that here.
