Rita Ora turned down Cheryl Cole's 'Call My Name'

  • April 25, 2012
  • Mikey

Calvin Harris originally offered Rita Ora what is now Cheryl's 'Call My Name', but she didn't fancy recording it.

Eschewing the clubLOL path, Rita said: "I heard 'Call My Name' quite a while ago because I was offered it."

That doesn't mean Rita won't be forking out the 79p for it when it comes out on June 10. She told The Sun: "I turned it down. I do like the song but I didn’t want to sing it ’cos it’s not really me."

"I don’t want to go down the dance route that a lot of other pop stars are doing," remarked DJ Fresh's 'Hot Right Now' collaborator.
