Rihanna is the most streamed female artist in the world

Rihanna'Love With Tragedy/Mother Mary' chanteuse Rihanna was streamed more than any female artist in the past six months according to stat­ist­ics compiled by Spotify in honour of International Women's Day.

NME reports that Rihanna beat out a slew of artists including Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, who rounded out the top three.

Results in the UK were slightly different, with Taylor topping the list, followed by Rihanna and your friend and ours Florence Welch.
