Paloma Faith is apparently 'in the running' to be a judge on The X Factor.
Mind you, there aren't many female popstars who aren't linked to that job at the moment, but let's just carry on with the story shall we, mainly because we actually think Paloma would be good for this job and the more news stories you publish about uncertain events the closer they become to SOLID FACT.
Anyway according to an 'insider' who knows about the situation and who also has connections to The Sun (as quoted here), Paloma's had a chat about it all with someone. "Paloma has held talks about the possibility of becoming a judge," says the curiously well-placed person. "She would balance nicely with Cheryl and is being talked about seriously, but no final decisions have been made."
"Simon," they add, "wants to make sure the best judge is hired."
But of course.
