The 'I Should Have Kissed You' hitmakers managed to shift 76,000 copies of their 'Up All Night: The Live Tour' DVD this week, to top the Billboard DVD chart.
John 'Dear John' Mayer, meanwhile, sold just 65,000 copies of 'Born and Raised' to hold on to the Number One spot on the album chart.
One Direction's tally marks the biggest weekly DVD sales since Adele's 'Live At Albert Hall' charted last December.
