Nicole Scherzinger wasn't fired from US X Factor, says Nicole Scherzinger

  • June 19, 2012
  • Joel Freeman

Nicole Scherzinger wasn't fired from US X Factor for making children cry, she has explained.

Talking to The Daily Star about her new role as X Factor judge — beating formidable competition from the likes of Geri Halliwell and Anastacia — Nicole has announced that she'll "be honest, give it everything I’ve got and bring out the best I can in the artists".

Hopefully not referencing the time she shattered Rachel Crow's dreams on live TV, Nicole promised: "I'm going to do the exact same thing as I did on the US show."

Meanwhile, explaining her sudden removal from the US X Factor judging panel after one season, Nicole explained: "I didn’t get the boot, I was only meant to do the one season."

Right.
