Nicki Minaj's new album will be released on Valentine's Day

  • November 23, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Following speculation yesterday that a new album was imminent, Nicki Minaj has confirmed that the follow-up to her debut album, 'Pink Friday', will be released next February.

Entitled 'Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED' (caps star's own), the album will be available to buy on Valentine's Day, which is quite the treat for any loved one, and, as rumoured, will shift the focus onto Minaj's male gay alter-ego, Roman.

'Taking to her Twitter', Minaj initially pleaded for more time ("Just give me 7 more days barbz"), before relenting and tweeting "U know what??? There's been a change of plans barbz. I'm announcing the name and date today…Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentines Day, 2012. Heeeee's baaaacccckkkkk."

It's thought that a new single could be released before the end of 2011 and we're going out on a limb here when we speculate that there might be a few collaborations planned.
