Miley Cyrus has recorded a Linda Perry-penned song for a forthcoming film soundtrack

'Miley Tibetan Bowlzzz' chanteuse Miley Cyrus has recorded a song written by Linda Perry for the soundtrack to the forth­com­ing film, Freeheld.

The news was com­mu­nic­ated in amongst the endless streams of bath selfies and dog photos that is Cyrus' Instagram account.

It's thought the song came from the sessions Miley did with Perry back in July, but who knows really.

The film is out on October 2 so it's likely we'll hear the song quite soon so nobody panic.
