'Reet Petite' interpreter Marcus Collins will headline Liverpool Pride on Saturday August 4.
Collins is the first act to be announced for the event which will take place in the Pier Head area of the city and will be 'Nautical and Nice' themed.
Perhaps Marcus will be splashing out on a sailor's outfit.
"I'm so excited to be involved with Liverpool Pride, it's such an amazing event and in such a vibrant city it's bound to be an incredible celebration!" Collins told a press release.
"I love the gay community and I love that I can be a big part of it, even if it’s only by keeping the bars open!" he continued, which sort of implies that everyone will be at the bar when he's singing.

"The awareness of the gay community that Liverpool Pride generates in the city makes it safer and more fun for everyone, and every year the event gets bigger and more fun. I'm honoured to be a part of it," he supposedly added.
