Lady Gaga has now been forced to cancel the remaining 21 dates of her Born This Way Ball due to a "labral tear to her right hip".
In a statement on her Little Monsters thing, someone said the following: "After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip caused by strenuous repetitive movements in her performances."
Ouch.
"She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."
Refunds can be collected at point of purchase as of today.
Obviously this is gutting for everyone involved but we can't help but wonder if the new album might benefit from Gaga having a bit of time to sit and think.
