Lady Gaga is going to perform in India for the first time next week

Famed motor­s­port fanatic Lady Gaga will make her debut per­form­ace in India as part of the country's cel­eb­ra­tions at hosting their first Formula 1 event.

According to IndiaWest.com, Gaga will perform at the LAP Buddh Circuit on the race's closing day on October 30. Arjun Rampal, actor and co-owner of one of the nighclubs hosting the event's official after­parties helpfully commented that "she will enthrall us with her unique props and songs. She has got a huge fan following".

While in India, Gaga will also be inter­viewed by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on "a variety of subjects". So many subjects in fact, that The Hindustan Times reports that the interview will be shown on Indian networks UTV and UTV Bindass "all of November".

Keith Alphonso, the business head of UTV Bindass, called it a "Gaga November to remember".
