Lady Gaga has won an award

  • March 26, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Lady Gaga has been honoured at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (or GLAAD for short) awards, reports the BBC.

The 'Marry The Night' hitmaker won outstanding music artist for 'Born This Way'.

Despite not being at the event itself, Gaga did make an acceptance speech of sorts on Twitter.

"I'm so proud to win 'Outstanding Artist' for Born This Way album at GLAAD Media Awards," she tweeted. "Thank you so much to your organisation."

It didn't stop there, however. "Lets remind the world that the zeitgeist continues to beckon for equality+change. The relevancy of freedom, the ying yang of hatred+love," was her slightly more perplexing second tweet.
