Kimberley Walsh has landed another acting 'gig'

  • June 14, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

1/5 Of Girls Aloud Kimberley Walsh has landed a role in a new British film called All Stars.

The 'Like U Like' hitmaker will play the part of Trish in the movie, which follows a group of misfits trying to save their youth centre. The film will also star Theo Stevenson, Ashley Jensen, Hugh Dennis and Ashley Walters.

Announcing the news, Walsh said: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of All Stars. I have worked with Theo before on Horrid Henry and he is a huge talent. I loved the script as soon as I read it. It is a heart-warming family film that will put a huge smile on your face."

The film's producers described the former Princess Fiona as "a brilliant actress with an electric screen presence".

What they failed to mention is that she should be using this "electric screen presence" in some new Girls Aloud videos but there you are.
