Kimberley 'Kimberley' Walsh has used her column in OK! magazine to talk about her Girls Aloud bandmate's upcoming album.
She wrote "[Nicola] wants to play it to us girls first, so all of us are coming around to my house for a listen. I know that the lyrics on one of the songs on the album refer to how hard her early days in Girls Aloud were, and that will be painful to hear. She was our little sister, we tried to protect her so it'll be hard to hear how hurt she was."
But while Kimberley predicted there'd be tears, she's proud of Nicola. "This is her moment of triumph, proof that it was all worthwhile," she writes or says down the phone to someone who eventually types it up or however it works. "She's inspirational."
Nicola's first single, 'Beat Of My Drum', will be released on June 5.
