Dannii Minogue is likely to become a judge on the UK version of The Voice

  • May 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Dannii Minogue has only just announced her exit from The X Factor and already it's being reported that she is being chatted up by another talent show's producers.

According to The Sun, the BBC are planning a UK version of US show The Voice and are interested in giving Minogue a role on the judging panel.

The US version's judging panel comprises of Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, country singer Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera. Monica, Reba McEntire and Sia Furler are also involved in the show, which aims to focus more on the music by having the panel judge the auditions blind.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell's publicist Max Clifford has told ITV1's This Morning that Minogue was not ousted from the show. "He (Simon) definitely wanted to keep her in because she was very popular and has worked very well," Cliffo explained. "But in the last few months, because of the American X Factor, this X Factor has had an awful lot of juggling going on and it's a question of getting the best possible combination."
