Kelly Rowland's totally fine with not having a record deal at the moment

  • March 27, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

Kelly Rowland hairKelly Rowland's keen for everybody to know that despite the split from her record label it's all okay and no one need panic.

"I feel like right now, I just needed something new and I’ve earned the right to make my own choices and make my own decisions,” the new face of Caress skincare mused to HuffPost Live (as quoted here).

“I wish them well, they wish me well. No hard feelings, I just needed a fresh, new start.”

So have you signed with a new label yet then, Kelly?

“There are different offers on the table. I just want to see what it feels like. I’m just in the studio on my own and just having a really good time just being creatively free.”

Apparently the new songs feature horns, drums, and flutes and were influenced by iconic female singers including Diana Ross.

“I’ve been inspired by the queens that have gone before us, incredibly strong women who aren’t afraid to take risks and just be innovative,” she added.

An album of the Freemasons' mix of 'Work' would be good, wouldn't it.
