Katy Perry is now the face of some crisps

  • July 25, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

'If You Can Afford Me' chanteuse Katy Perry has signed up to be the face of 'healthy' crisp alternative Popchips.

"I was hooked after my first bite!" Perry exclaimed to a press release (as quoted here). "When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it."

These tweets were of course completely arbitrary and were in no way part of a longer campaign of viral marketing. (We called this one back in May.)

As well as appearing in some adverts, Perry will also be investing in the company and joining the likes of P Diddy as a creative partner.

What a load of old shit.
