Justin Timberlake is working on is new album "here and there" but isn't in a hurry

  • September 15, 2016

Justin Timberlake

Part-time actor, golfer and Trolls soundtrack creator Justin Timberlake has compared himself to a tortoise.

Having a chat to Entertainment Weekly at the premiere of his tour film thing, 'JT' was asked about his new album, ie not the Trolls one.

“I’ve been in and out of the studio, obviously, with some of my more frequent – and less frequent – collaborators," he mused, probably referring to the fact that he's been working with Timbaland, Pharrell and Max Martin again. "I guess I’m resigned to the fact that I’m a tortoise when it comes to this process. I can’t imagine doing it any other way. I just feel like it’s so important to never have the cart before the horse [OR TORTOISE] when it comes to making a record.”

Basically, he's not rushing it okay, so just calm down.

“I’m working on it here and there, but I’m also enjoying being a dad,” he added.

How about a new single early next year and then an album — and tour — in the summer? Okay great.
