Justin Bieber's helping Adidas flog some trainers

  • October 17, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Justin Bieber has become a 'spokesman' (famous person whose popularity will help make a shitload of cash, in exchange for a shitload for cash) for Adidas NEO, it's been announced.

The amazingly named Hermann Deininger, who as you well know is Adidas' chief marketing officer, had this to say about his new employee (as quoted here): "Justin makes his mark in his own bold and expressive way through fashion, music and style. Justin will help us spread the spirit of Neo worldwide and showcase the brand's sports and lifestyle-inspired apparel and footwear silhouettes."

'Footwear silhouettes': trainers.

But what does Bieber think about it all?

"I found a real connection with NEO because it is about fashion, freedom and being true to who you are," he mused, hopefully with his tongue firmly lodged in his cheek.

"With my new album, 'Believe' [CLANG], I am spreading the message of believing in yourself…For me style is an adventure, something to have fun with and NEO believes this, too."

As is the way with these kinds of things, it all comes with a ludicrous online competition, which you can learn more about below.

Well done everyone, and when we say 'everyone' we mean 'precisely no-one'.
