Justin Bieber is being sued by a fan's mum who claims he gave her tinnitus

  • July 13, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

The mum of a Justin Bieber fan is suing the 'Fa La La' hitmaker for allegedly giving her tinnitus.

Stacey Wilson Betts claims — as quoted by Ace Showbiz — that during a 'gig' in Portland, Oregon on July 14, 2010, Bieber "created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena" as he "climbed into a heart shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled out over the crowd."

Sound like pretty standard affair to us.

Apparently this caused a frenzy in the crowd, which then led to even more screaming. Betts is also suing the sound engineers who are supposed to "maintain safe decibels at all times during their events".

Betts is seeking a paltry $9.23m in damages.
