JoJo's new album won't be "boring"

JoJo says she has avoided the tra­di­tional "boring" pop formula on her forth­com­ing album 'Jumping Trains'.

Enlisting the pro­duc­tion talents of Danja and Darkchild she told V magazine: “I love Britney Spears and Madonna and Lady Gaga. I love pop music, those big pop records, but I still want it to feel like my sound.”

The album, scheduled for an April release, will be JoJo’s first in six years and the 21-year-old pop veteran is confident of its appeal, saying: “I want to sing what people are thinking and feeling. I want it to be the soundtrack to their lives.”
