Jennifer Lopez performed a new song on American Idol last night

  • May 24, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Fresh from her Pitbull-assisted performance of 'Dance Again' on American Idol the other week, Jennifer Lopez wheeled out the equally shy Flo Rida during last night's 'finale'.

The pair, alongside a barking Lil John, performed the GoonRock-produced 'Goin' In', which we imagine is also taken from her forthcoming Greatest Hits album.

The collaborations didn't end there for old J to the LO: she also called up 'mates' Wisin and Yandel for a run-through of the ridiculous 'Follow The Leader'.

You can watch the performance here.

Mind you, American Idol isn't just about established performers flogging singles and forthcoming tours, it's about discovering new talent. The winner, in case you care, was the amazingly named Phillip Phillips.
