The upcoming Jason Derulo album features a song about him being stalked.
'Be Careful' — which we imagine sounds a bit like those old road safety adverts with singing hedgehogs and added Derulo 'flavour' — was inspired by an experience Jason had where a slightly 'eager' female fan followed him on his worldwide jaunts.
The song takes us "step-by-step", he told BBC Newsbeat.
The incident started "as a social thing, and it just escalated to her, you know, following me around the world." There is no word yet on whether the song interpolates any 90s club classics.
