David Guetta has hired a Pentagon investigator to trace who leaked his single

  • May 9, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Unhappy about the leak of his latest single 'Where Them Girls At?', David Guetta has hired a Pentagon investigator to trace the hackers who stole the track from his computer.

Guetta told BBC Radio 1 that his studio's wifi network was broken into by hackers sitting in a car outside. "It's really crazy," he said.  "I know it sounds like a film, but it's the truth."

With the unfinished song leaked online, Guetta was forced to finish and release the song ahead of schedule.

"Our job as producers is to make the music sound as good as possible. If you put a demo on the net and people say it was the finished version, then they're going to say it sucks," he said. "I really hate that."
