Charli XCX has been working with above average 'tunesmith' Linda Perry on some new songs.
Having a brief chat with gothpop specialists the Daily Star Playlist, Charli elaborated: "We clicked and made some great music."
Fascinating stuff.
Elsewhere, she said some nice things about current paymasters Coldplay: "Coldplay are the nicest, most generous people to work with. They picked me out of nowhere so they must like what I’m doing."
(Well not quite out of nowhere, she is signed to a major label and has a live agent.)
"Getting to play shows on that scale with them is amazing. I’m learning so much," she concluded.
