UPDATE: One Direction "forgot" to thank Capital FM listeners last night

One Direction have allegedly been dropped from Capital FM's playlist after they mis­takenly snubbed the station at The Brits last night.

Collecting the Capital FM-sponsored Best British Single Award, Harry told fans: "This is yours, so thank you so much. And a massive thank you to Radio 1."

Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles gloated on Twitter: "Best British single voted by listeners to Capital FM, One Direction. Harry Styles said "a massive thank you to Radio 1" HaHa Nice one!".

Update: One Direction later issued an apology for the "oversight" via their PR firm saying they "forgot to thank the Capital Radio listeners" because they got "caught up in the excite­ment of winning". Hm…
