Calvin Harris is not too keen on performing live any more

  • June 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Calvin Harris has said he's to give up performing live, claiming there's no need for two Examples.

Speaking to The Sun (who refer to him as a "Scottish giant"), the Scottish giant said he will be concentrating on DJing and producing from now on. "The live show is not going to happen any more. I just look too much like Example. We're like the same person. There doesn't need to be two of us."

He goes on to cast aspersions not only on his own singing ability, but, implicitly, that of Example by saying that he "wrote the rule book on how to make it without being able to sing. I'm proud of that".

In other Calvin Harris news, his single 'Bounce' is set to enter at Number One this Sunday, dethroning, wait for it, Example! What are the chances?

(Fairly high considering they've both got singles out all the bloody time, but still.)
